Stress and Headache Correlation

We all experience stressful periods in life, some of which can be adequately diminished with certain tailored reliefs and therapeutic techniques. We also experience headaches, varying in intensity and severity, which remedies combat or that administered medication relieves. But what really causes headaches? Conventionally thought to be caused by disturbances in the brain’s sensitive areas such as nerves, blood vessels, tissue, etc. But could stress be to blame? A study out of University Hospital at the University Duisburg-Essen in Germany correlate headache incidence with high stress levels.
